This site has no cookies and no analytics. The only personal data we collect is what you type into the contact form. This page explains what happens to it.

1. Who is responsible

The controller is the provider identified on the Legal page, trading as Kedgework. Contact: hello@kedgework.com.

2. What we collect

Giving us this data is not a legal or contractual requirement. If you leave out the name, email or message, we cannot answer you. The company name is optional.

To limit abuse, the form also keeps your IP address in a short-lived counter (about one hour) that caps how many messages one address can send. It is not linked to your message and is deleted automatically.

3. Why we use it

Only to read your request and reply to it. We do not send newsletters and we do not use the data for marketing.

4. Legal basis

Steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, under Article 6(1)(b) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). For the short-lived abuse counter, our legitimate interest in keeping the form working, Article 6(1)(f).

5. Who else handles it

We use two processors. They act on our instructions.

We do not sell your data and we do not share it with anyone else.

6. Transfers outside the EU

Both processors are based in the United States, so your data can be processed outside the European Union. The safeguard we rely on is, in order:

7. How long we keep it

If we do not end up working together, we delete your message and details 12 months after the last contact. If we do work together, we keep what the contract and the law require, and tell you the period in the work agreement.

8. Your rights

You can ask us for access to your data, to correct it, to erase it, to restrict how we use it, and to move it to another provider, and you can object to our use of it. To use any of these rights, write to hello@kedgework.com. We answer within one month.

9. Complaints

You can complain to the Portuguese data protection authority, the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD): cnpd.pt. You can also complain to the authority in the EU country where you live or work.

10. Cookies

This site does not set cookies and does not load third-party scripts, so there is no cookie banner. If that changes, we will update this page first.

11. Changes

If we change this page in a way that matters, we change the date at the top. The date above is the version in force.
